KRCB and the Press Democrat, in collaboration with Sonoma State University, conducted a post-election online survey. Nearly 3,000 North Bay residents participated, answering questions about their choices in the presidential race as well as their votes on Measure J in Sonoma County and Measure U in Napa County. The survey explored not only how respondents voted, but also their motivations behind these decisions, depending on their county of residence.

This survey was developed by graduate students under Professor Richard Hertz’s guidance and captures the perspectives of North Bay residents, providing a deeper understanding of local viewpoints during this pivotal time. With anonymous responses that reflect the diverse motivations and experiences of our community, these insights are intended to spark thoughtful stories and discussions across our region.
