A new book, “How Women Made Music”, is inspired by NPR’s multi-platform series “Turning the Tables”. The book offers a window into the lives, struggles, and triumphs of the women who have defined musical eras, featuring excerpts from 50 years of NPR’s archival interviews, essays, and lists.
