It may be a little quieter and chilly outside, but farms are anything but dormant in winter. Certainly farmers are awfully busy as we head in towards the end of the year because there's pruning to be done, there's cleaning to be done, there's all kinds of preparation to be done for next spring and there are things that have to go into the ground or into the greenhouse or into your tummy.
This is a very busy time of year for farmers and we don't think about that because We're so busy celebrating. We're so busy enjoying the fruits and vegetables and animals of their labors that we forget that farming is year round. It's 24/7. Take an hour from a farmer and you're stealing sleep. So appreciate them. Savoring everyone in Sonoma and everyone who comes to Sonoma. I'm Clark Wolf for KRCB.
