Mustard flowers already?

I was driving towards the freeway and I suddenly saw something. I'm used to seeing in February, well maybe late January. It was mid-December and suddenly yellow flowers, mustard flowers under the vines? What the heck is going on? We had a slow sweet season in this past year and we have no idea what the next year will bring.
But if this is any indication, nature is having I don't know, a bit of a moment. We have to watch nature as it lives in front of us and around us and we have to live in it. So, maybe things are going to be a little early, a little bright yellow, a little micro micro climate. Savoring Sonoma, I'm Clark Wolf for KRCB.
