Sarah Silva on Savoring Sonoma: The Hour

SILVA 5c5290 Recently named Climate Smart Farmer of The Year by CAFF (Community Alliance of Family Farms), Sarah Silva and her mother Carol steward the 85 acre Green Star Farm.
The pasture based livestock farm provides eggs, chicken, pork, lamb and goat from this idyllic spot in Western Sonoma County. On the cutting edge of regenerative farming, Silva sums it up thoughtfully: “Because some old ways to solve new problems is not mainstream agriculture, we constantly face unique challenges that are both educational and entertaining.”
